Friends,
As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in '09. Well, it seems the "Beast" is back. I was told that my cancer has spread to my bones... a spot on my spine and pelvis which puts me in stage IV. I will be visiting MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas on February 14 and would appreciate your prayers that God will give the doctors wisdom and continue to give me and my family peace. If you ever doubt that God is real just shoot me a message. So many miracles have happened over the last few days to make this trip happen...I stand in awe! I accepted the Lord as my Savior when I was 9 years old - BEST decision I ever made. He has seen me through so many events in my life. I have no doubt he will see me through this.
Because of all the "distractions" my posts may be few and far between for awhile. I enjoy this so much so I will definitely be posting when I can! Thanks for viewing my little blog -
Suzan
I will be praying for God to give you strength and the doctors knowledge. I too accepted Jesus into my heart at age 9 and think that was the BEST thing that has happened to me :)

ReplyDeleteI am brand new to your blog, but when I read this entry, I just had to post a comment. I, too, was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2009 at age 38. I went through a mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and an oopherectomy with the hopes of keeping this beast away. I am saddened to hear that your disease has spread to the bones. If you have not heard of this site, please visit breastcancer.org. There are tons of women sharing their experiences and it is a wealth of information! You will be in good hands at MD Anderson. Praying for a quick return to remission.
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog and from what I can see, you are supported by many, loved by a lot, and stronger than you know! May your inner strength make you a survivor.
